Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Loved the fact that it was so well connected to the transport links, food, and China town. So convenient. The accommodation was huge, and the square footage was great. The aircon was fantastic and kept the apartment cooled. The accommodation was kind enough to leave 4 complimentary water for the first day of our stay. The washing facilities were great. My clothes dried in 1 day. They supplied an air dryer. They also supplied washing powder. The kitchen was very well equipped microwave fridge freezer coffee machine with about 8 complimentary coffee pods and all the cooking equipment you might need. 7/11/Star bucks for additional coffee was 3 min walk away , in the china Town mall. The water was very chlorinated, so I had to purchase drinking water to boil for tea and coffee. I would put this as a plus as I am then happy with little or no bacteria contamination within the water supply.

Negative: The noise level was horrendous. We measured the sound level at the maximum it was 85 decibels. It was hard to sleep in my bedroom with water dripping all night from the air-conditioning water drain. I could hear the guess upstairs at 3 am. I realise this isn't the inherent problem with the flat. But the overall sound insulation was very poor. As the accommodation faces the main street and we were on the 3rd floor. The pollution was a big factor. If you suffer from asthma or any lung condition, do not stay here . 3 of the bedrooms were boxes with no ventilation, no window. It felt like sleeping in a box. We left the door ajar to allow airflow and oxygen .
