Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Love the amenities the property offered, such as the delicious buffet breakfast, onsite restaurant with reasonable prices and good food, free bicycle rentals and reasonable motorbike rental. The landscaping around the property is very nice and there are lots of space for guests to lounge around by the very slow moving river that runs through the property. Love how close it is to Hoa Lu (the ancient capital) and Am Tien Cave (beautiful park with a large lake; great for IG posts). You can bicycle to both places.

Negative: Better signage in the front. When the taxi took us to the very front of the private road that leads to the entrance, we couldn't see the main property nor did we know how far to walk to the lobby. (There was a bulldozer that blocked the private room to the entrance of the hotel.) We were scared to enter because we didn't want to trespass or being in a bad area. Glad that the taxi driver called the property and the bellman came to get our luggages.
